2024-25 Course Offerings

  • ACT 8686—January 6-February 5 (no class Jan. 20 or 27). Ten classes total. Mondays and Wednesdays (and two Fridays: Jan. 10 and 31) from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. Room 200 at Eden Prairie High School. Course fee is $399. Students do not have to attend EPHS to attend this class.   • ACT course number to be determined—April 30 to June 11 (no class May 26). Ten classes total. Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. Room 200 at Eden Prairie High School. Course fee is $399. Students do not have to attend EPHS to attend this class. Registration is not available at this moment. The ACT 

The ACT is the college-prep test taken by most students in Minnesota because it is required by the state schools in Minnesota and is accepted by almost all colleges in the US.  We will be offering a Nov.-Dec. class, a Jan.-Feb. class, a May-June class and possibly another class between January and May. The test consists of four parts: English, math, reading, and science.  The writing part is optional. Remaining ACT test dates for the 2024-25 school year are Feb. 8, Apr. 5. June 14, and July 12.

Most colleges and universities will now accept either the SAT or the ACT for admission, but some of the state schools in Minnesota require the ACT.

How to enroll

If you wish to enroll your son or daughter in one of the classes , please click on the EP Community Ed button in the top right corner of this page. You will register through Community Ed (rather than directly with me) and the course fee will be $399.

Financial assistance is also available: to apply, complete the section at the bottom of the registration form.

Student selection will be made on a first-come-first-served basis. EP Community Ed. will send registrants a confirmation email soon after its arrival.

Registration in a course does not register a student for the test itself; that is still the obligation of the student or parent. ACT registration is at www.actstudent.org.
